Clarke Tucker Endorsed by League of Conservation Voters Action Fund

LITTLE ROCK — The Clarke Tucker for U.S. Congress campaign today announced the endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund, a group whose stated mission is to work to elect candidates who will implement sound environmental laws and policies, and defeat those who stand in the way of progress. The LCV pointed to Tucker’s commitment to clean energy and environmental justice as reasons for their endorsement.
“LCV Action Fund is excited to endorse Clarke Tucker because he is committed to a clean energy future for Arkansas,” said LCV Action Fund Senior Vice President of Government Affairs Tiernan Sittenfeld. “He has been a strong voice in the Arkansas House of Representatives, and we know that in Congress he will be an important partner in the fight to ensure clean air and water for every family in the Natural State and across the country.”

“We all have an obligation to care for this planet,” said Clarke Tucker. “As residents of the Natural State, we have a heightened responsibility to be good stewards of our water, air, and public lands. That is why I am proud to have the endorsement of the League of Conservation Voters Action Fund, and I share their mission to elevate policy that acknowledges and fights climate change and invests in a clean energy economy. I look forward to working with LCV to advance clean energy policy that protects our environment, promotes public health, and boosts our economy.”
